Dear Sally, We are and will forever be grateful for all the help and sincere engagement we experienced from you within all the facets of our wedding – From your understanding and advices before, to the planning and organization throughout the wedding day and the ceremony, and even during the period after the wedding we felt your care and support. Regarding our experience of the actual wedding ceremony:  We were standing on a rug on the rocks on Camp Bay beach. We were embraced by a 360° panoramic view of the enormous mountains, the powerful sea, and the endless sky with its light reflecting in the waves of the sea. This spectacular scenery made us feel as if standing right where the majestic power of nature meets the fragile life of human. I cannot think of a better scenery for confirming love, life and happiness. It was somehow a relevant reminder of basic belonningness, interdependence and wholeness. Due to your organization of the day, we were able to “let go” and fully enjoy all the special moments of the day. And Sally, the photos that Alex and you took have really captured the essence of all those special moments we were in. Thank you! Hi Sally, I just wanted to thank you so much for our wedding in February. It was the most perfect day of our lives and everything if not more of what we had dreamed. Planning a wedding from overseas would have been extremely difficult if not impossible without you help! Everything we asked for we had and it looked even better than any of the pictures. When we chose Cape Town to get married in, we had no idea where we wanted the wedding, The Twelve Apostles was a perfect location as we both had wanted either a beach wedding or a garden wedding and this was a bit of both, in a garden overlooking the ocean! On the day we did not have to think about anything or worry that things would run smoothly as you were there and assured us everything was under control so THANK YOU so much for everything! We are as happy as ever.

Sally and her team gave me and my now new husband an amazing wedding on table mountain combined with great photographic work of the places we visited on that day to make it unforgettable. They also made us feel very comfortable despite the fact that we were both foreign to their country.

Planning a wedding in a foreign country can be both scary and daunting and Sally has been nothing but wonderful since the beginning. She quickly alleviated all our concerns and made sure that every detail was taken care of. We chose Boschendal as our venue and the ceremony was truly perfect. Highly recommend! We had the wedding of our dreams! If you thinking of getting married abroad hassle free with people you can trust to organise everything from the minor to major details this company will do it all! Sally, Adele, Werner, and Wade were absolutely amazing! Could not have asked for a more perfect day. Our biggest worry was paperwork and how we’d do it all but Sally said not to worry she does it all even though we were on foreign passports! Again can’t thank you enough Sally! Hi, Sally, not sure if you remember us but you helped me and Diego get married March last year just wanted to say thanks for the wedding it was really amazing and could not be happier. If anyone of you have the slightest worry about what are the odds of getting married as foreign nationals in a foreign country, we must say let your worries stay at home. The moment we met Sally and Andred for our pre-wedding discussions, we immediately felt at home. And right from there, everything was a smooth sail. Even though ours was a very simple wedding, it was garnished with a touch of personal emotions throughout the whole day that made a very low key wedding as special and magnificent as any big fat splendid wedding could be. We highly recommend Sally and her team not only for their excellent service, but also for their cordial and warm nature.

It’s all over! But we had such an amazing time, and we have wonderful memories! Thank you for helping to make the whole week such a raving success  – our friends had the BEST time and they are still raving about their unforgettable week!

When we think back to our wedding, which still feels like yesterday, there are only very happy and fond memories that comes to mind. When we decided to get married in Cape Town, while living in Switzerland, we thought that it was going to be very challenging. But thank goodness we decided to plan almost everything through Weddings Abroad. From the day we met you (a year before) everything went so smoothly and without hassle. Our e-mails or phone calls were returned promptly, you had excellent ideas and suggestions and always answered all of our many questions. On the day of the wedding everything went so perfectly as you and your team looked after every little detail. There was nothing left for us to do and even stress about, it was great! Our minds were empty, able to focus on more important things, like enjoying our day with our family and friends. This could only happen as we didn’t have to worry about the typical stresses of a wedding. We have only great things to say about Weddings Abroad. The vendors you suggested and used were amazing – the flowers turned out fantastic, the photographer was beyond amazing, the choir was just perfect and our guests were transported around with ease.   Thank you so so much for making a great day FANTASTIC.

Hi Sally, Once we’re back in the US and settled back into ordinary life, I am sure that we will say thank you again. But here is a big thank you in the mean time. It was such a wonderful ceremony and exactly what we had envisioned. You read us very well! Gary and I would once again like to thank you for the part you played in making our wedding possible. You listened very well to what we had requested, and the event turned out just about as good as we could have imagined. We wanted something simple and intimate, and that is exactly what you gave us.  The couple of hours that we spent together at the fort and on the rocks waiting for sunset were fun filled. It did not feel like we were spending our wedding with strangers, but rather with dear and supportive friends. You are performing a wonderful service, and we are honored to have been on the receiving end of this service!

As I look back on the ceremony and all of the help you and Kevin gave us for our wedding, I am exceedingly grateful to you for making it a truly special event for the two of us. Without much fuss or fanfare you helped us achieve something that we’d be looking forward to for some time with a lot of grace and dignity. The beauty of the setting at East Fort overlooking Hout Bay was perfect for us. The warmth and humanity that Kevin brought to the day was also just right for what we needed to solemnize our pledge to each other.  So thanks again. We will remember that day and your part in it for many, many years.

Dear Sallly, I would like to start off with a big heartfelt thank you. Thank you is not even enough to describe the amazing wedding we had. It all started when I was looking for something special for a wedding when I came across Gay Weddings Abroad and was I impressed. I emailed you to find out more about the wedding packages and lost my heart on the Yacht wedding. The funny thing is, we wanted to meet way before the wedding, but couldn’t as we live in Gauteng. I left everything in your hands. Up to the last bit of details, except the Wedding clothes of course. When we met I knew that everything would just be perfect. I trusted your judgement on all the decorations, the food, the minister, etc. and not only myself, but Juliet was surprised how amazing and romantic everything looked. Sally, you made our day not only memorable, but special and romantic. I never realized that a wedding can be so perfect as ours was. It was truly our dream wedding and without any worries. From the bottom our hearts, we want to thank you for everything that you have done. For all the arrangements that you made around the wedding and especially for the most amazing photos that you took with the sunset. The minister that did our wedding, Kevin Light, also a huge thank you for the special words that you have said to us. To Candice that did our make-up. It was wonderful. It looked natural and perfect. Talitha who did Juliet’s hair, wow is all I could say. It looked amazing. To the captain and the crew on Tigger 2 Royale, a big thank you for the wonderful cruise to Clifton and back and for the amazing food that you served us. One thing is for sure. You can see the passion of your work. You live for what you do. You put your heart and soul into everything that you do for a wedding. That is what is making it more special. Honestly, you can have your dream wedding even if you are not close to have meetings regarding your wedding as anyone who wants to get married without any worries on all aspects of wedding, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND GAY  WEDDINGS ABROAD. I haven’t met Sally’s team, but you can certainly leave everything up to them as they are excellent in what they day. And it seems you have a hotline to the weather-gods, since that was perfect too. With the exception of the minor issue with the bus (which was not in your hands), everything went smoothly and superbly. From our very first conversation after I had completed the application on your website, I was sure we had made the right choice in choosing you as our wedding coordinator, and this was clearly confirmed after our first meeting in Cape Town. After that meeting, I knew that there was absolutely nothing left for me to worry about. Thanks too for your speedy reaction in finding us suitable accommodation. It saved us so much time and hassle, and the place we stayed in was amazing. Thank you for arranging such a wonderful marriage officer. Kevin is an amazing person and both Werner and I agreed that there could not have been a better choice.
